El protagonista es el posible hijo de Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff), Mike Tracer, que es un Ranger con \u00ednfulas de piloto de carreras. La hija del creador de KITT (Knight Industries Three Thousand) se entera de que su padre est\u00e1 en peligro, contactar\u00e1 con Mike, que curiosamente era su mejor amigo de la infancia.
